Hello, I’m Evo. I hope to meet you for real.

For over 25 years I worked in technology and design — building products, thinking in systems, interpreting human needs, and designing experiences to make things in life work better. I enjoyed it until I started to question what my efforts were in service to, and what it meant to my life.

At some point, the inputs did not live up to the outputs, and the demands took a toll. Within a short stretch of time, it all came apart: a 17-year marriage ended, a family system had to be rebuilt, and the career I'd built came to an end.

In the process, I learned how to embrace the pain and discomfort, instead of managing around it. When trudging along in misery was no longer an option, I reached with curiosity and found courage. Crisis is a powerful teacher, showing us what we're made of, what we value, and what matters to us most.

Coaching came out of a desire to share effective tools and practices to support others similarly motivated to grow. I also returned to my roots, finding great resonance in the wisdom traditions of the East. I became interested in Chinese Polestar astrology (Zi Wei Dou Shu), studying it casually, and then more seriously, finding it both a practical and powerful tool for my clients. Today, what gives me joy and meaning is to put what I’ve learned in service of others looking for ways to walk their path. The personal is also collective; the more we tend our own lives in balance and harmony, the greater resonance we can amplify into the world at large.
