Hello, I’m Evelyn (aka Evo)

For over 25 years I worked in technology and design — building products, thinking in systems, interpreting human needs, and designing experiences to make things in life work better. I enjoyed it until I started to question what my efforts were in service to, and what it meant to my life.

At some point, the inputs of my efforts did not match my desired outputs, and the demands took a giant toll. Within a short stretch of time, it all came apart: a 17-year marriage collapsed, a family system had to be rebuilt, and the career I'd built came to an end.

In the process, I learned how to embrace the pain and discomfort, rather than managing around it. When trudging along unfulfilled became was no longer an option, I reached with curiosity and found courage. Crisis was my teacher, showing me what I am made of and how to live in alignment with what I value most.

Coaching came out of a desire to share effective tools and practices to support others similarly motivated to grow. I also returned to my roots, finding great resonance in the wisdom traditions of the East. I became interested in Chinese Polestar astrology, studying it casually at first, then more seriously. Lately, it’s become my favorite tool to engage in with clients. It’s personal, practical and powerful — offering an unexpected way to work with what we’re given rather than against ourselves.

What gives me joy and meaning is to put what I’ve learned in service for others walking their path. The personal is also collective; by tending faithfully and lovingly to our our own lives, we’re able to expand the field of harmony through our connections in the world.
